It's been an honor to represent Casco, Raymond, Frye Island, Windham and part of Westbrook, and I'm running for re-election to the Senate, representing Maine's 26th District. I'm in my 2nd term and have written and sponsored significant legislation to protect our lakes and rivers, protect affordable housing, keep veterans housed, strengthen consumer protections, support victims of trafficking, and more.
As Chair of the Transportation Committee, I'm uniquely positioned to advance a robust, modern infrastructure across Maine.
I'm deeply appreciative of the trust placed in me, and with my experience I feel more prepared than ever to keep our state the best place to live.

About Tim
Tim Nangle has called Windham, Maine home for nearly 3 decades, raising his daughter here. He was born in Boxford, Massachusetts as the youngest of 10 children. His family had several small businesses, and he developed his work ethic early in life. At the age of 17, he became a police dispatcher, then a police officer in his hometown. Tim eventually attended Cape Cod Community College and trained as a paramedic. He moved to Maine in 1990 and served as a Paramedic in Portland for 27 years.
Tim currently works as a Manager for a multinational IT company.
Tim started his political career on the Windham town council, being elected in 2015 and again in 2018. "I ran for Windham Town Council to improve the town's infrastructure; we built parks, expanded open space, built a new Public Works garage, renovated 2 fire stations and the Public Safety building. We reduced property taxes for seniors and disabled veterans through the senior property tax assistance program"
In 2022 Tim ran for a seat in the Maine State Senate and won. He was re-elected in 2024. Currently, he chairs the Transportation Committee. "When I ran for the Maine Senate, I had the chance to serve my community in a completely different way. I want to keep Maine's waters clean and air healthy, ensure everyone has access to health care, enable every Maine student to have a quality education, and protect good jobs. Our veterans deserve the support they've earned and seniors deserve to be able to afford to live in Maine."

Serving as a firefighter and paramedic for over 30 years was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.
I’m running for re-election to keep delivering real legislative results and common-sense solutions for the people of Senate District 26 - Westbrook, Windham, Raymond, Frye Island, & Casco.
